"La Linea was broadcast on French-Canadian TV when I was a young child. This character and world created a really strong impression on me and even influenced my work in terms of the potential effectiveness of an idea. Because of its consistent presentation 'framework' and the multitude of situations which occur during the episodes, La Linea seemed ideal for experimenting with the interactivity made possible by the principle of 'annotations' developed and offered by YouTube".
